February 2011 saw Emanuel back @ the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, to host the 9th Russell Sheppard Memorial Trust Scholarship. Emanuel was met by RWCMD ‘s Principal, Hilary Boulding, who was chairing the adjudication panel.
The yearly Scholarship alternates between instrumentalists & singers. This year it was the turn of the instrumentalists… with the prize money to help / support with their Post Graduate studies, was won by Euphonium player, Byron Newton. He delivered a very polished & professional performance… a name definitely to look out for in the future!…
Next year’s 10th Scholarship will take place in the new & exciting Concert Theatre @ RWCMD, officially opening in Summer 2011.
