Mr Emanuel commented in an article in today’s WalesOnline.co.uk article, ‘Knives out for Simon Cowell as Lucie Jones loses out in X Factor’.
Royal wedding dress designer David Emanuel was furious. “This Season’s X Factor is a travesty ,” he said. “Simon Cowell has said: ‘That’s why we come to Wales [looking for talent]. I will remind you, this is a singing competition’. Please! In regards to last night ‘sing off’, as head judge, why didn’t he vote for the best act?
“No, Mr Popular copped out and went for the ‘soft’ option and pulled in the ‘public vote’… how convenient.”
Mr Emanuel said he would not watch any more of this series.
