Writing came about simply by originally being asked by Mr Alan Edmunds, the Editor of a National Newspaper, the Western Mail.
Emanuel came up with the concept of ‘STYLE and everything STYLISH’.
As Style Editor he covered various style headings to include – shoes, hair, frocks, men’s ties, parfum, cars, Interiors, celebrities, shoppers …… you name it, he wrote it !
What he thought was to be a monthly column turned into a ‘Weekly’ double page spread of words and glossy photos. Contracted initially for six months his column rolled out and ran for two and a half years!…
He still occasionally writes ‘Specials’ / Style feature for the Newspaper, mostly favouring The Oscars & matters of Style & Showbusiness!
Other publications have included:-
- Racing Days – covering social etiquette for the ‘Jet Set’, what to wear at social events, style advice and where to shop etc…
- West Country Life (Colour Supplement) – mostly cover stories, style pages on celebrity interviews with people like Joan Collins, Noel Edmonds, Gloria Hunniford, Christopher Biggins to name but a few… “Supplement of the Year”
- Bonmarche’ Magazine – currently writing for this quarterly magazine about Fashion Tips and Style Secrets.
